Where the platform stands

Every format, how far it goes today, and the models doing the work.

All 15 reach greenlight. 11 go all the way to finished output.

The other four are written works or still images, so they are complete once the story is approved.

Built to raise quality, and to catch problems before writers do

Alongside new formats, much of this period went into the engines and checks behind every output.

Logger and the daily report

Every run step and error is recorded

A report reaches the team every morning at 09:00, by email with a PDF. Each problem is sorted into one of three groups:

Fixed itselfA retry worked; no writer saw it
Network or trafficSeen by a writer, caused by a provider
Needs attentionSomeone has to fix something
  • Priority follows how many separate runs a problem hit
  • A provider running low on credit is flagged as billing, so it is fixed in minutes
  • Regular checks that video requests carry audio

Creative skill files

55 skill files guide the writing
  • Story structure, genres, narrators and story hallmarks
  • Character psychology: personality, values, flaws, emotions, relationships
  • World and time; prompt rules tuned for the video engine
  • An industry-standard taxonomy and lexicon across all pipelines

Character builder engine

With a review agent for looks
  • Builds each character from identity to physical description
  • Holds the same face and look across every scene
  • Age, region and role carry through: children look like children, names fit the background

World builder engine

In final testing
  • Grounds locations and sets in real period, cultural and geographic detail
  • Keeps era and place consistent across scenes

Landing by 15/10/2026

Two items cannot close until you decide; they are marked as waiting.

Due 15/10/2026

Notification centre, first version in retest

A bell in every header with a dropdown, telling people when a stage is ready, an approval is needed, a run finishes or fails, premise options are ready, someone joins their project, or Gems run low. A full notifications page and email come next.

Due 15/10/2026

Quality fixes

Sharper eyes in character portraits; music video quality on the main video engine. Voice previews now speak Hindi and Hinglish, in retest.

Due 15/10/2026

World builder, in retest

Richer city and climate data, places named in the premise kept, and checks that stop modern places or wording appearing in period stories.

Due 15/10/2026

Script and audio moderation

Built; one issue found in retest is being fixed before it goes live. Image and video checks are already live.

Due 15/10/2026

Stop check

A check found a provider was still called after a user pressed Stop. Nobody was charged; the fix is in progress.

Next

Team collaboration and security

Collaboration is built (roles, invitations, shared projects, live cursors in every major browser); its screens are the last phase. Security: scanning tools are chosen and a secrets plan is in place.

Waiting on your decision

Child voices

Girls sound like children and boys like young teenagers today. Going further needs decision 6.

Waiting on your decision

Luma

The first phase cannot start until decision 7.

Planned next

Specified or scoped, and ordered by what the business needs first.

Revenue and cost

Fully specified, ready to build
  • Gems charging fix: paid actions currently take no Gems from the wallet
  • Token economics and account plans
  • Cost optimisation: the right model for each task at the lowest cost
  • Usage limits per account

Launch readiness

Needed before any consumer launch
  • Video delivery: final videos converted to several resolutions and served fast anywhere
  • Invisible IP watermark on every script, image and video
  • Notification centre: full page and email
  • Walkthrough and user manual for the platform

Quality and formats

Scoped, awaiting documents or direction
  • Prompt improvement engine that learns what works by genre and language
  • YouTube video and News Flash formats
  • Game design as a new format
  • Region-specific writing models (separate brief)

Cross-format conversion: a plan for your go or no-go

Turn any CineIQ project into another format. Leadership feedback changes the approach, so the plan is reset before any build.

Primary mode

Adapt

  • Keeps the characters, premise and world
  • Rewrites the structure and scripts to the target format's rules
  • Generates every shot new in the Creative Studio
CharactersPremiseWorldNew structureNew scriptsNew video
Secondary mode

Repurpose

  • Re-cuts existing footage where it fits
  • Best for trailers, cut-downs and condensed versions
  • Cheaper: reused footage is charged at a lower reuse rate
Example: feature film to micro drama

Characters, premise and world carry over from the film.

What is rewritten

The story is restructured into short episodes, each ending on a hook, as micro drama requires.

What it means for cost

Close to producing the target format afresh: the saving is writing, character and world time, and consistency, not render cost.

1
Foundations

Link the source and new project, protect the source, check access, quote the cost before starting.

2
Adapt

Carry over the story world, rewrite structure and scripts to the target's rules, writer approves, then generate.

3
Repurpose

Re-cut and reframe existing footage for the formats where it fits.

4
Tune pairs

Benchmark quality per conversion and mark proven pairs; the rest stay labelled as generic adaptation.

Why go now
  • Every project becomes many: one story world, many formats
  • Character and world work is reused, so new formats ship faster and stay consistent
  • Feeds micro drama demand from long-form stories we already own
Why wait
  • It depends on foundations not yet built: Gems charging, reuse rates, team roles and the consent record
  • Every conversion pays close to full video cost, so pricing must be settled first
  • It is a large build that competes with open pipeline work

Nine decisions that unblock the next builds

Each has our recommendation. Open any item for the detail.

#DecisionOur recommendationUnblocks
1Three pipelines: approve or give feedbackReview sample outputs of Teaser and Collaterals; approve the YouTube planNext iteration of all three
2Where StarME / FastME fitsA separate capability the system calls when neededStandalone micro drama release
3News Flash documentsShare your preliminary documentsScoping and plan
4Knowledge layer: six questionsSix knowledge bases, Indian market first, suggests but never decidesKnowledge layer design
5Skill file update processConfirm as proposedFaster product changes
6Child voicesWrite to ElevenLabs; budget a voice artist; second vendor only if they declineConvincing child voices
7Luma directionLuma images from idea to greenlight; no Luma videoRe-plan of the Luma programme
8Region-specific writing modelsSee the separate briefProof of concept
9Cross-format conversionGo or no-go now; then your feedback on the planThe reset plan and its PRDs
1Pipelines awaiting your approval or feedbackTeaser and trailer, Marketing collaterals, YouTube video

Teaser and trailer: built for any project, or from uploaded images and a brief. Clip extraction, effects, bridging and beat-by-beat cutting to a soundtrack are in place. Remaining: more immersive on-screen text.

Marketing and social collaterals: image and video variations of uploaded content for marketing, social and promotion.

YouTube video: a 16:9 category with YouTube-native structure. The plan is ready; the build has not started.

Recommendation: a short session to review sample outputs of Teaser and Collaterals, and approval of the YouTube plan.
2Microdrama standalone: where StarME / FastME fitsThe standalone build is ready for market
OptionWhat it means
A. Inside the micro drama workflowA step every micro drama passes through
B. Separate capabilityThe system calls it when needed, from any format
Recommendation: Option B. The standalone product stays lean, launches without waiting, and other formats can use the service later.
3News FlashWaiting for your preliminary documents

Once shared, we return a scoped plan for your review.

4Knowledge layer: six questionsExpansion, multi-step retrieval, self-refreshing pipeline
QuestionOur recommendation
Which knowledge bases?Six: Genre, Indian market, Audience behaviour, FastTV content and performance, Storytelling craft, Visual language
Priority order?Indian market, then FastTV, then global, then historical. Please confirm.
Reason across several bases?Yes, for example genre, then Indian market, then FastTV trends, with a cap on steps
Inform only, or recommend? Both: it recommends what to change and why. The writer always decides.
Historical knowledge?A separate layer queried on purpose, never deleted
Where does it end?It finds and synthesises intelligence; the production agent owns creative reasoning and execution
5Skill file update processConfirm as proposed

Enhancements to the creative skill files come to you for incorporation. The creative team joins where their expertise is needed; product and technology proceed directly on the rest.

6Child voicesThree decisions to reach a convincing child voice

Fixed: children look like children; girls sound like children; boys like young teenagers.

Blocker: ElevenLabs refuses child voice designs and forbids cloning anyone under 18. Cloning a real child would risk the one account behind every CineIQ voice.

DecisionOur recommendation
Ask ElevenLabs in writing to allow a private clone of an adult voice artist performing a childAsk now
Budget a voice artist session: one boy and one girl, about 3 minutes each, with consent and a cloning licenceApprove
If ElevenLabs says noAccept a second vendor, for child voices only
7Luma: a recommended change of directionLuma images from idea to greenlight; no Luma video
Luma video
  • No character references, so identity cannot be held
  • Only 5 or 10 second clips; we pay for trimmed seconds
  • No sound: no dialogue, no lip sync
  • 3 jobs at a time; no repeatable results
Our main video engine
  • Up to 20 character references
  • 4 to 30 second shots
  • Dialogue and lip sync in the shot
  • Higher capacity

Luma's image model takes up to 9 references and keeps a character's face, body and clothing consistent.

Recommendation: approve the shift. Using Luma for character images needs Legal sign-off, because today's plan keeps faces and real people away from Luma.
8Region-specific writing modelsSix decisions, in the separate brief

Priority markets, a second supplier and its credit, data stance, reviewers, cost policy, and whether the model is chosen automatically or by the writer.

9Cross-format conversion: go or no-goThen your feedback on the reset plan
QuestionOur recommendation
Build it now, or later?Your call. If go, foundations start with Gems charging and reuse rates, which it depends on.
Which mode leads?Adapt: keep characters, premise and world; rewrite structure and scripts; generate all video new. Repurpose stays as the cheaper option where footage fits.
Which conversions first?Any to any across the 15 formats on general rules, labelled as generic adaptation until each pair is proven
How do characters carry over?Characters made in CineIQ keep their face and voice by default, and the writer can choose to recast any of them. Anyone from a photo or a real person is recast until the consent record is live.
Who signs off quality per conversion? The Creative lead, from benchmark results
After your go: we rewrite the cross-format PRDs to this plan and share them for your feedback before any build.

Nine answers move the next builds.

Your direction lets the team close the open pipelines, launch the standalone micro drama, and decide when cross-format conversion begins.
